Pilates On King is located in Sydney, in the heart of Newtown. We’re just an 8-minute walk from Macdonaldtown Station, 12 minutes from Newtown Station, and close to the University of Sydney. The studio address is 67 King St, Newtown, 2042
Before 8 AM, parking is free right outside.
After that, spots become paid parking, but you might find free street parking on nearby streets: Queen St, Wilson St, Campbell St, Fitzroy St, or Wilson St.
Absolutely! Macdonaldtown Station is an 8-minute walk, and Newtown Station is about
12 minutes away. Plus, there’s a bus stop right outside for easy access.
Yes, we do!
The studio opens 5-10 minutes before class starts—just enough time to get settled, adjust
your reformer, and chat with your instructor before we kick off!
At least 5-10 minutes before class starts to check in, claim your reformer, adjust your footbar, and get in the zone.
New here? Arrive 5-10 minutes early, and we’ll show you everything you need to know. Bonus: It’s a great time to meet your soon-to-be Pilates besties.
Sorry, but no late entries—not even one minute! Once class starts, the door closes.
This keeps the class flowing smoothly (and safe!). If you’re running late, we totally get it—life happens—but aim to be on time so you don’t miss out!
Easy! Just log into your Momence account on our website or via their app, pick your class, and confirm.
Need to cancel or reschedule? Make sure you do it at least 4 hours before class starts to avoid fees.
Yes, you must book your class in advance—we don’t allow walk-ins. Our classes are small,
and spots fill up quickly, so booking ensures you have a Reformer waiting for you!
Last-minute bookings? Totally possible! Last minute spots do become available if someone cancels. You can book up until one minute before class—as long as there’s a Reformer available.
If a class is full, jump on the waitlist—think of it as a VIP line for Pilates. Here’s how it works:
The waitlist works on a first-come, first-served basis. If a spot opens up, the first person on the waitlist gets automatically added to class and notified via email.
If you can’t make it anymore, remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid an unexpected booking.
Got added within 4 hours of class? The normal cancellation policy applies, so keep an eye on your email!
The waitlist stops running 60 minutes before class to prevent last-minute surprises. If you’re hoping for a spot, it’s worth checking the schedule last minute, as openings do become available!
Life happens, we get it! But to keep things fair for everyone, here’s how our cancellation
policy works:
Cancel for free if you do it at least 4 hours before class starts—easy! Cancel within 4 hours? That’s a late cancellation. Here’s what happens:
● Unlimited members & 7-day holiday pass holders: $15 late cancellation fee.
● Limited members & class pack holders (includes intro offer): You forfeit your class
credit.
● Drop-ins: You forfeit your credit.
● On the waitlist? If you’re added within 4 hours of class, the same cancellation
policy applies.
If you don’t show up for class and haven’t canceled, that’s considered a late cancellation and a no-show. And trust us—this hurts everyone:
- A fellow Pilates lover misses out on a class they could’ve attended.
- The waitlist doesn’t work properly if people don’t cancel when they know they can’t make it.
- It hurts our studio because we’re holding a spot for someone who isn’t there.
- So here’s what happens if you no-show:
All members and pack holders will be charged an additional $10 no-show fee. This charge is on top of the late cancellation fee.
Want to avoid the no show charge? Just cancel—even if it’s last-minute! At least someone else has a chance to grab your spot.
Once class starts, the door closes—literally and figuratively.
No late entries allowed. This is for safety (and so you don’t awkwardly tiptoe in mid-plank). If you’re not there when class starts, your spot could be given up to someone else.
If you arrive late and miss class, it’s considered a no-show, and the no-show fee
applies.
We understand that life happens, but our cancellation and no-show policies apply to all
bookings, regardless of the reason.
This ensures fairness for all clients and allows us to run small group classes effectively.
Unfortunately, missed classes cannot be refunded or credited back.
We appreciate your understanding!

Upgrade your membership to a higher-tier plan if you’re consistently doing extra classes. Purchase extra casual class passes for $25 each to drop into an extra session whenever

Buy a class pack if you want flexibility without upgrading your membership.
