At Pilates on King everyone is welcome regardless of their fitness levels or experience with pilates. Once you try some of our classes with our amazing instructors you’ll find the benefits of regular reformer pilates is something that not only makes you feel good but helps keep you focused.

FOUNDATIONS

Reformer Foundations focuses on essential Pilates exercises and functional movements. Designed specifically for newcomers to Reformer Pilates, this class provides a supportive environment for beginners to build confidence in using the reformer machine and enhance your body awareness.
In this class you will develop a strong foundation in Reformer, setting the stage for future growth in your practice. While featuring simple, foundational movements, this class also offers challenging variations to accommodate experienced clients.
If you are new to Reformer Pilates, try 2-5 Foundation classes, before progressing to Reformer Open.

OPEN
Ideal for:
All levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
Individuals with experience in Reformer Pilates
Those familiar with basic Reformer exercises and terminology
Injury management
Reformer Open is a mixed level class that includes a range of simple and complex exercises designed to challenge your strength, coordination, endurance, and flexibility. Each class is thoughtfully created by your instructor, offering variations, regressions, and progressions to accommodate all fitness levels.
Please note that this class is NOT suitable for pregnant individuals during their second and third trimesters.

EVOLVE
Ideal for:
Intermediate and advanced levels
Must have a solid foundation in Reformer Pilates
Must be comfortable with Pilates terminology
Reformer Evolve is an intermediate to advanced class designed for those ready to elevate their Reformer practice and explore their full potential.
This class features progressions, intricate sequences, and heavier springs, requiring a high level of body awareness and coordination. Emphasis is placed on mastering your body and refining your form to optimize athletic performance and prevent injury.
We recommend completing 4-8 weeks of regular Reformer Foundations and Reformer Open before progressing to Reformer Evolve.
Please note that this class is NOT suitable for beginners, pregnant individuals, or those managing injuries.

STRETCH
Ideal for:
- All levels, beginner-friendly
- Anyone feeling stiff from sitting or standing all day
- Recovery from intense exercise
- Injury prevention and management
- Enhancing mobility and flexibility
Reformer Stretch is a slower-paced class designed to release tension, improve mobility, and support recovery. Unlike our more dynamic or strength-based classes, this session focuses solely on stretching and mobility—blending dynamic and static techniques, deep holds, loaded stretching and light assisted stretching from your instructor.
Incorporating breathwork and mindful movement, this class promotes relaxation while also improving functional flexibility, making everyday movement feel smoother and easier.
Whether you’re an athlete, a desk worker, or just feeling tight, Reformer Stretch helps your body move better and feel better. This class pairs perfectly with strength-based workouts, Pilates, and activities like running.

All of the classes at Pilates on King are aimed at exploring concentration, control, center, flow, precision and breathing. Our classes include all the necessary warm up and stretch techniques with the option to advance your practice and take things deeper or ease off a little where needed. We have levelled classes so you know where to place yourself and if you’re after that extra burn we’ve got you covered.
